Our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.

What you'll be doing...

• Develop operating process plans to machine or assemble parts for the Powertrain department.
• Lead and participate in projects focused on the procurement, installation, trial, and launch of engine/transmission machining or assembly lines.
• Create and maintain schedules and budgets for assigned areas to ensure project goals are met.
• Develop and improve standard tools and benchmarks for efficiency.
• Engage in cross-functional working groups to build consensus and secure project priorities.
• Analyze and communicate solutions to critical manufacturing issues.
• Spend a significant portion of time on the manufacturing floor (20%).
• Work required overtime with flexibility for domestic and international travel as needed (up to 20%).

The right person has...

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in process engineering, including managing schedules and budgets.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD with the ability to read, interpret, and modify designs.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in project activities during weekends and shutdown periods.
• Flexibility for business travel, primarily domestic, with a minimal chance of travel to Japan.
• Strong project management exposure and prior machine or assembly experience.
