This role is responsible for translating business priorities into executable project plans for marketing communications initiatives. The Sr. Project Manager serves as the primary orchestrator of work through the creative studio, balancing business priorities, team capacity and delivery timelines. They will lead project intake, prioritization, resource coordination and cross-functional alignment, ensuring projects are structured for success and delivered efficiently from concept through completion.What You’ll Work OnCore Job FunctionProject Leadership & Cross-Functional PartnershipPartner with Brand teams to understand business objectives, marketing priorities and project requirementsPartner across CDS functions to align resources, timelines and deliverables that support business objectivesTranslate business needs into clear & comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirementsParter with creative studio leadership to ensure appropriate staffing, capacity planning and resource allocationEnsure projects are properly structured and positioned for successful executionMaintain visibility to project health and drive resolution of issues that could impact deliveryLead prioritization discussions and recommend trade-off decisions when project demand exceeds available capacityProactively plan for upcoming work by aligning business priorities, timelines and resource needs across CDSBuild strong partnerships across CDS, Brand & cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project deliveryFoster collaboration and accountability among teams to achieve project objectivesChampion continuous improvement of project management processes, workflows and toolsProject ManagementOwn end-to-end project management from intake to deliveryLead project intake, scoping and kickoff activities to ensure clarity & alignmentDevelop, maintain and communicate integrated project plans and timelinesOrganize and facilitate project reviews, decision-making discussions, and stakeholder approvalsTrack project milestones, dependencies, scope, risks, decisions, feedback and action itemsDrive timely decision-making and escalate when project obstacles ariseLead Brand and Internal status meetings, providing detailed meeting recaps and next stepsManage multiple concurrent projects while balancing priorities, timelines and resource constraintsEnsure compliance with Abbott’s medical, regulatory, and legal guidelines.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred5+ years leading complex marketing, creative or digital projects within a matrixed corporate environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience within agency or in-house agency preferredDemonstrated success translating business objectives into actionable project plans and leading complex, cross-functional marketing projects from intake through executionStrong ability to facilitate prioritization discussions and influence decision-makingStrong stakeholder management skills with ability to align diverse creative teams around shared priorities and project objectivesKnowledge of healthcare and/or consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketing.Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels.High marketing acumen and strategic thinking.Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented mindset.Misc.:This is an onsite role – this is not a remote role/opportunity.Sponsorship: we will not provide sponsorship of any kind for this role (including OPT).Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.Apply NowLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
