Role Description This is a full-time Property Manager role based in San Diego, CA. The Property Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of residential and multifamily properties, including coordinating maintenance, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring properties are well-maintained and compliant with local regulations. The role includes handling tenant relations such as move-ins and move-outs, addressing inquiries and concerns, and enforcing lease terms and community standards. The Property Manager will monitor occupancy and rent collections, prepare regular reports for owners, and support budgeting and expense management. The role may also involve assisting with leasing activities, conducting property inspections, and implementing process improvements that align with the company’s performance-focused approach.
Qualifications
- Property operations and tenant management skills, including coordinating maintenance, conducting inspections, and managing lease compliance.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize multiple properties, tasks, and deadlines effectively.
- Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with residents, owners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Basic financial and administrative skills, such as tracking rent payments, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and expense control.
- Comfort with property management software and technology-driven systems for documentation, reporting, and workflow management.
- Knowledge of local housing regulations and fair housing practices, or willingness to learn and comply with applicable laws.
- Ability to work in San Diego, CA, with a hands-on approach to resolving property and tenant issues.
- Prior experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is required.
- CA Real Estate License Required.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
- Must have personal vehicle.
