Stage Manager

Under direct supervision and well established guidelines this position performs a variety of routine administrative/secretarial duties to support a department, school/college, program or unit. Duties include greeting visitors, data entry, faxing, filing, answering incoming calls, photocopying, making appointments, ordering supplies, maintaining files, records, and calendars. Position Specific Responsibilities Greets visitors Prepares and types letters, simple memos, emails, labels, routine correspondence Photocopies and/or distributes reports, presentations Enters information into spreadsheets and databases Assists in maintaining inventory and orders supplies Answers phones, routes callers, takes messages Makes appointments, schedules rooms Expectations Exhibit behavior that supports the mission, vision, and values of the university. Communicate and employ interpersonal actions that model high standards of professional, responsible, accountable, and ethical conduct. Demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service, especially to prospective and current students, donors, and alumni. Requisite Qualifications Typically a high school diploma or equivalent No previous experience required Some knowledge of standard office procedures, word processing, spreadsheet, email and databases (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Good communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this position may not be eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
