Special Education Assistant/Paraprofessional

Site of Initial Assignment: GES / GPS Wage: Per the negotiated agreement Reports to: Building Principal

Qualifications:

• Meets all mandated health screening requirements
• A record free of criminal violations that prohibit school employment
• Compliant with drug-free workplace rules
• Compliant with board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures
• Must pass State and Federal background checks

Essential Functions:

• Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to keep current with work skills essential to the objectives of the position
• Ability to meet needs of students, staff and families
• Consults with supervisor to resolve questions and/or concerns
