SUMMARY : The Director of Resident Health Services is responsible for overseeing the healthcare needs for residents in independent living, assisted living, memory care, supervising CareOne Home Care, and care suites manager.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Specific tasks will be dependent upon shift worked.  Other duties may be assigned.

·         Act as a liaison between residents, their families, staff, and key medical personnel to ensure that resident needs and concerns are being addressed.

·         Conducts resident assessments in coordination with other staff members and physicians to ensure resident’s care plan is followed and that residents are placed in the correct level of care.

·         Supervises, trains, and manages the performance of the assisted living memory care LVN manager, CareOne Home Care and Care Suites Supervisor,

·         Oversee the performance of routine nursing duties, monitors residents’ health, interprets regulatory and company policies and procedures to ensure resident care needs are being met, and reports changes of condition.

·         Maintains medical records for all residents to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, RCFE Title 22 and ECS policies.

·         Creates and monitors the departmental budget including reporting variances.

·         Participates in Resident Care Conference, CQI, Resident Health Committee, and other committees as directed by the Executive Director.

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE : Current LVN or RN in good standing per state regulations.  A minimum of 3 years working in a healthcare setting, preferably with seniors.  Working knowledge of RCFE Title 22 regulations and experience with medical records maintenance.  Supervisory experience required.  Must be computer literate with experience using e-mail and Windows based software.

Job Type: Full-time (salary)

Pay: $103,000 - $166,000 yearly
