Mechanical Assistant

Job Summary Trillium Staffing is currently seeking 1st & 2nd shift Mechanical Assistants for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer in the Sturgeon Bay area. This Mechanical Assistant role supports Mechanical Assemblers in building large-scale, custom-engineered equipment used in marine and industrial applications, with a clear path to grow into a Mechanical Assembler role. Responsibilities Complete entry-level assembly work and prep parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics. Assist with building subassemblies for large equipment. Support installation of engines, pumps, tires, conduit, and hydraulic systems. Train alongside Mechanical Assemblers to develop mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills. Lift, move, and stack completed subassemblies and parts. Operate overhead and jib cranes to position materials. Support additional duties as assigned. 1. st Shift: Monday–Thursday | 6:00AM–3:00PM; Friday 6:00AM–12:00PM.
2. nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:30PM–1:00AM (3-Day Weekend).
