Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a full‑time on‑site role. The position focuses on air distribution, ventilation, automation, controls, design, development, construction, QA/QC, and relevant standards (LEED, BD+C, ASHRAE). Responsibilities Lead the design and development of mechanical systems. Utilize BIM software for detailed 3D models and technical drawings. Implement automation and controls to improve efficiency and performance. Oversee construction to ensure work meets design specifications and quality standards. Conduct QA/QC checks throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project objectives. Stay current on LEED, BD+C, and ASHRAE standards and incorporate them into designs. Provide mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred). At least five years of experience in a mechanical engineering role. Proficiency in BIM software and engineering design tools. Strong understanding of LEED, BD+C, and ASHRAE standards. Experience with QA/QC processes. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
