Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Join our client as a Controller and play a pivotal role in leading the accounting function for a multi-site financial services company. This is a high-impact position, responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and reports, maintaining compliance with regulations, and driving operational excellence across the organization. What You’ll Do: Provide leadership and direction to a team of 10 associates across accounting functions, supporting their growth and development. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Lead accounting due diligence and integration of acquired businesses, supporting both new and existing associates through transitions. Manage billing for assets under management and the related advisor variable compensation processes. Oversee payroll and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and compliance. Implement and strengthen financial systems, processes, and internal controls to safeguard assets and data integrity. Ensure proper accounting for broker-dealer related activities. What We’re Looking For: CPA with 10+ years of progressive managerial accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public company and private equity–backed firm exposure. Background in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Insurance, or professional services preferred but not required. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles combined with proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Experience gained working within a public accounting firm (Big 4 or large regional firm preferred).
