e.l.f. Beauty is looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial FP&A, Naturium  to lead the commercial and sales FP&A function for the Naturium brand, reporting to the AVP, FP&A, Naturium. This role is the primary finance bridge between FP&A and the Commercial/Sales organization, partnering closely with the VP of Sales and cross-functional teams across Demand Planning, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Finance.

This person will own commercial sales planning across retail and connected commerce , including visual merchandising, and translate commercial strategy and sales activity into financial plans, forecasts, and actionable insights. This is a highly visible role as Naturium scales, with significant exposure to senior Commercial and Finance leadership.

ResponsibilitiesCommercial Sales Planning & Forecasting

• Lead commercial sales planning across retail and connected commerce channels, partnering with Sales to build, maintain, and refine sales forecasts and plans.
• Drive monthly/quarterly sales forecast cadence with variance analysis versus prior forecast, plan, and prior year.
• Maintain driver-based commercial forecast models (sell-in, sell-through, promo cadence, price/mix, innovation, door count, retailer programs, and connected commerce ramp) to improve accuracy and speed.

Visual Merchandising Finance

• Own financial planning, forecasting, and cost management of Visual Merchandising investments, including planning cycles and cross-functional coordination.
• Partner with VM and Sales to plan, size, and track retail investment programs; ensure spending aligns with commercial priorities and delivers expected return.

Commercial Business Partnering

• Serve as a key business partner and strategic advisor to the VP of Sales and the Commercial organization.
• Support trade terms, promo guardrails, retailer forecasts, and commercial deal evaluation; track realized net revenue and contribution margin versus targets.
• Evaluate business cases for retail programs, commercial activations, and VM investments (ROI, payback, sensitivity).
• Help build the FP&A infrastructure to support Naturium at scale.

Performance Reporting & Insights

• Produce and socialize commercial reporting packages: sales performance, gross-to-net waterfalls, channel/retailer dashboards, trade investment readouts, and visual merchandising spend tracking.
• Distill complex results into clear insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions; prepare materials for senior Commercial and Finance leadership and cross-functional business reviews.
• Standardize and automate reporting templates and calendar; ensure one source of truth across systems.

Scenario Planning & Ad Hoc Analysis

• Run scenario models for commercial initiatives, trade strategy, channel mix shifts, innovation launch pacing, and cost changes; quantify impact to revenue, margin, and opex.
• Support pricing, promo, and mix analyses in partnership with Sales.

Process & Tools Improvement

• Identify and implement enhancements to forecasting tools, BI dashboards, and data quality.
• Champion continuous improvement to shorten cycle times and reduce manual work.

RequirementsMust-Haves

• 7–10+ years of progressive FP&A or commercial/sales finance experience in CPG.
• Strong FP&A fundamentals, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Sales / Commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of gross-to-net, trade investments, pricing/mix, and contribution margin.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling; proficiency with ERP/EPM/BI tools (e.g., NetSuite/SAP, Adaptive/Anaplan, Tableau/Power BI/Looker).
• Strong communication and executive presence; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA and/or CPA/CMA a plus.

Nice-to-Haves

• Beauty or other consumer-facing CPG experience.
• Experience with retail and/or connected commerce.
• Experience with Visual Merchandising / retail investments and related planning.
• Experience building or improving FP&A processes in a growing organization.
• Experience partnering directly with VP-level or other senior commercial leaders.

The base salary range for this role is listed above. 

Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
