Overview: Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, and seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Technician Position: Pharmacy Technician Location: Memphis, TN Duration: 3-6 months+ temp-to-hire!!! Pay rate: $20.50/hr Note: ONSITE role. Work schedule: 10 hours/ day | 40 hours/ week | 4 days per week [Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday] (Days & Time): Mon, Thu and Fri – 11:00am to 930pm. | Sat – 8:00am to 6:30pm. Must have a Current Tennessee State Pharmacy License. JOB DESCRIPTION: Minimum Requirements: 1+ years of pharmacy operations experience (Please note that specific business units minimum years of experience may be different and may require pharmacy certification depending on state law). Education/ Certifications - HS Diploma or Equivalent- TN State Pharmacy Technician License. Must have a Current Tennessee State Pharmacy License. Must have reliable transportation. Performs any combination of following duties to assist Pharmacist in Central Fill pharmacy, which includes manual entry and picking, replenishing product for filling, packing, run automated sorting and counting equipment, fills bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules, applies prescription labels to bottles and boxes, and computer usage. Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Cleans equipment, completes forms as directed. Assists in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory.
