Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant to support high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care. In this role, you’ll implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility, function, and independence after major illnesses or injuries. Responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, transfers, and use of assistive devices; monitoring patient progress; and documenting outcomes in the EMR. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team in a patient-centered, compassionate environment that supports professional growth, specialty training, and career advancement while upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence, integrity, and respect.
