Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the multifaceted needs of patients, tailoring personalized treatment plans accordingly.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to address mental health concerns effectively.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and supportive group therapy, creating safe spaces for patients to share and learn from each other.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure our clients receive comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating empathy and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Educate patients about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community support resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, complying with applicable legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings to enhance service delivery and professional growth.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to continually improve service quality and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we serve represent a diverse spectrum of backgrounds, including individuals facing cultural, socioeconomic, and linguistic barriers. Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or Psychology.
  • A valid and current independent license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills along with proficiency in utilizing digital tools for therapy and documentation.

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years of experience providing individual and group therapy in a mental health setting.
  • Proven track record of utilizing culturally informed practices in therapeutic contexts.
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms and familiarity with various treatment modalities.
