Must-Have: Experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures is required. Charge experience is preferred. Experience with trauma level I or II is preferred.

Description: Start date in the next 3-4 weeks is strongly preferred. Shifts are Friday to Sunday with no call. Experience in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics procedures is necessary. Skills required include amputation procedures, anterior cervical fusion, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, appendectomy, arthroscopy, and arthrotomy. Candidates should be familiar with burns, carpal tunnel release, cervical fusions, cholecystectomy, closed reduction of fractures, colon resection, and craniotomy. Experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is advantageous. Candidates should have knowledge of general OR procedures, gunshot and stab wounds, hernia repair, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, lumbar fusion, mastectomy, and multiple injuries from motor vehicle accidents. Candidates will be working primarily with adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. They should be capable of collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Compliance with mandatory drug screening, including testing for marijuana, is required. Positive results will lead to automatic cancellation, with no exceptions. Candidates should avoid any products that could lead to a positive drug screening result. Experience in Altera charting is preferred, though not required. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to complete all necessary paperwork and requirements within 72 hours of accepting the position. Lab items must be completed within the specified timeframe or have a plan in place for completion. Modules, which are non-billable, will be completed during the orientation period.
