Hourly Pay: $21-$24 BOE

ProStaffing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company seeking a dependable and organized Shipping & Receiving Coordinator. This position plays a vital role in ensuring materials and finished products move efficiently throughout the facility while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting daily production needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Shipping & Logistics

• Prepare shipping documentation in accordance with customer and company requirements.
• Label outgoing products and pallets accurately before shipment.
• Build pallets, skids, and shipping containers as needed.
• Process daily shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and other transportation providers.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules with transportation partners.
• Receive incoming deliveries, verify shipments, and distribute materials to the appropriate departments.
• Unload incoming trucks containing raw materials, components, empty containers, packaging, lubricants, and subcontracted products.
• Stage finished goods for shipment and load trucks according to shipping schedules.
• Ensure products and materials are moved throughout the facility to support production schedules.

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Support physical inventory counts and inventory control initiatives.
• Store raw materials and finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Ensure inventory is properly identified and labeled.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure empty containers, bins, and racks are available to support production.

Manufacturing Support

• Safely operate forklifts, tuggers, and other powered industrial equipment.
• Inspect equipment daily and promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, quality, environmental compliance, and operational procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed to support daily production and shipping objectives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and experience with shipping systems or inventory software are preferred.
• Ability to lift materials and work throughout a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
