Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift contract assignment at a reputable long-term care facility. The RN will oversee resident care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality clinical outcomes in a geriatric setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and coordination of nursing staff during assigned shift
• Monitor, assess, and evaluate residents' health conditions
• Communicate changes in condition to physicians and coordinate care plans
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Review and update resident care plans as needed
• Act as liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers
• Manage staffing needs, including handling call-offs
• Oversee orientation of new nursing personnel
• Respond to emergencies and implement facility protocols
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Serve as Manager on Duty during night shift

Requirements

• Active RN License - Pennsylvania (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience , preferably in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience with MatrixCare EMR required
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
• Compassionate approach to geriatric patient care

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
• Capability to respond quickly to emergencies
