Successful candidates will have prior work experience as a Mig Welder of large mechanical equipment and be capable of reading blueprints and schematics successfully. Responsibilities Welding and fabrication: pulse MIG Welding Carbon/structural steel Fit and weld prefabricated metal parts Inspect completed weldments for quality Good quality and attention to detail required Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams Qualifications MIG experience with large weldments Experience with solid wire with gas process Able to weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding) Must work quickly, skillfully and accurately to meet production and quality requirements Good attendance is required Must be fit for duty, with the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift 50+ lbs Must be reliable, able to be on time for daily shift, and have dependable transportation Knowledge of and ability to correctly use basic hand tools Follow all safe work practices and wear proper PPE Work well independently and as a team Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred Education Welding certification High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to reasonably commute to York, SC on a daily basis and have dependable transportation #J-18808-Ljbffr Andersonunderbridge
