Team Lead, Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO)Lead. Coach. Produce.
Are you a top-producing Mortgage Loan Officer who's ready to take the next step in your career?
As a Team Lead, Mortgage Loan Officer , you'll lead a team of 4–8 Loan Officers , providing daily coaching, accountability, and mentorship while setting the standard through your own performance. You'll work company-provided warm transfer leads, help your team maximize opportunities, and play a key role in building a high-performing sales culture.

Location: This is an on-site position based in Troy, Michigan .
Compensation:$150,000 - $200,000
Responsibilities:- Manage, coach, and develop a team of 4–8 Loan Officers
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance coaching sessions
- Assist team members with loan structuring, scenario analysis, and overcoming objections
- Monitor pipeline activity and ensure timely follow-up with prospects and borrowers
- Foster a positive, competitive, and high-energy team culture
- Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and management teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company lending guidelines
- Active NMLS license in good standing
- Proven track record of mortgage sales success
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Previous experience leading a team is a plus
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and hold team members accountable
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills
