Contract | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Extra shifts may be available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Family Birthing Center supporting standard labor, high-risk deliveries, and OB triage for patients 20 weeks or greater
• Circulate C-sections in one of two OR suites as required
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2 for laboring patients and 1:4 for other assignments
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to Mother/Baby or Level 1 Nursery based on unit need and traveler experience
• Rotate holidays with core staff; travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (copy of Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required at time of submittal)
• Ability to circulate C-sections
• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time or part-time) by any facility within the CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity health system within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk OB patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Mother/Baby or Level 1 Nursery experience for floating purposes
