Die Cutting Operator - 3rd Shift

Niles, IL | $20-$25/hour, up to $30/hour for highly qualified candidates | Full-Time

A leading premium packaging manufacturer is seeking Die Cutting Operators to join its growing 3rd shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced die cutting professional to work with high-end, custom folding cartons and specialty packaging rather than basic commodity or corrugated products.

What You'll Do

Set up and perform make-ready on die cutting equipment
Position dies and adjust machine pressure, feeding, and delivery
Monitor product registration, quality, and production speeds
Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance
Work with complex packaging jobs where precision and attention to detail are critical
Follow job tickets and complete production paperwork
Support continuous improvement and efforts to reduce make-ready time

What We're Looking For

Experience operating die cutting equipment
Packaging/folding carton manufacturing experience
Foil stamping experience strongly preferred
Embossing and blanking experience are a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experience with high-speed, high-volume, or custom packaging is preferred
BOBST, Heidelberg, Jagenberg, or comparable equipment experience is a plus
High school diploma or GED

Schedule: 3rd Shift, 9:45 PM-6:15 AM
Pay: $20-$25/hour, with up to $30/hour available for exceptional candidates
