If you have a sense of urgency and want to grow with a company that has seen 10x growth over the last 2 years, look no further and apply today!Key Responsibilities:As a Contents Technician, you will be responsible for safely handling, moving, and storing customers’ belongings after damage to their property, ensuring everything is properly inventoried, packed, and returned in excellent condition. This role requires a customer-focused attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in both residential and warehouse environments. In this role, you will also:Maintain clear and effective communication with customers regarding their belongings and any concerns they may haveTake a comprehensive digital inventory of all items impacted by damageCarefully pack, label, and organize items to ensure their safety and easy identificationSafely wrap furniture and other large items to prevent damageUse dollies and proper lifting techniques to move items from the customer’s home into company vehicles for transport to our warehouseManage the safe storage and organization of items within our warehouse facilityExecute the return of items to the customer’s home upon completion of reconstructionAdhere to all safety and SERVPRO production guidelines to ensure a safe and effective work environmentMake basic logistical decisions regarding salvage vs. non-salvage items, job completion methods, and efficient truck loadingDrive and operate large trucks (preferred but not required)Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOvertime may be required to meet business needs#SPTSField19QualificationsRequired:High school diploma/GEDValid driver’s licenseAbility to successfully complete a background check (subject to applicable law)Effective oral communication skillsPhysical ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to stand, walk, drive, climb, and work at ceiling heights for extended periodsAbility to safely navigate ladders and perform repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying tasksPreferred:Experience driving large trucksPrior moving, warehouse, or restoration experienceAdditional Skills & AttributesStrong customer service mindset with a great attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to safety and professionalism in handling customers’ belongingsBenefitsMedical, Dental, and VisionPaid Time OffSick Paid Time OffParental Paid Time OffMatching 401KCompetitive compensationPersonal development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr SERVPRO Team Shaw
