We are a full-service 528-bed hospital founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1916. Over the decades, the hospital expanded, with a new patient tower completed in 1968. In 1996, the Ascension St. Vincent's Health System acquired the facility. Today, it is a prominent hospital offering a range of specialty care, continuing its mission of compassionate healthcare for the Jacksonville community. - Provide leadership to management team that enlists active participation/support and creates ownership of short- and long-term objectives necessary to achieve revenue/budget goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement policies and practices to deliver the optimal level of service to the community.
- Ensure that services are consistent with the mission, vision, values and directives of the organization.
- Create a culture and environment that attracts, motivates, develops and retains qualified associates and physicians.
- Provide leadership for performance improvement and quality initiatives to achieve high quality of care and patient safety goals.
- Ensure that the organization meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with medical staff. Integrates physician perspective in strategic and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate and partners with key leaders across business units to optimize the delivery of care to patients, families, physicians and the community
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 5 of those years being in leadership/management.
- MBA, MHA or related field
- Proven experience leading a large facility with complex service lines
