Looking for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner/APRN; full-time for Stillwater Medical Physicians Clinic (SMPC). Experience preferred. Please contact: Joe A. Ogle, PT/ATC Director, Physician Recruitment Stillwater Medical Office: View phone number on click.appcast.io View email address on click.appcast.io JOB SUMMARY: Provides primary health care in collaboration with physician(s); manages selected cases according to established proto-cols; maintains case histories, medical reports, and other records; prepares treatment plans; orders x-rays and other di-agnostic procedures; writes prescriptions according to protocols; refers acute and chronic care patients; patient education counseling; conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and Supervision.
- Demonstrates graduation from an approved school for nurse practitioners.
- Experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting preferred.
- National certification as Nurse Practitioner.
- Licensed under the supervision of an Active Staff physician.
- Physically and mentally able to conduct job duties as listed.
- Maintains malpractice coverage as defined by the Board of Trustees.
- Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
- Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
- Able to distinguish colors.
- Able to discriminate minute details.
- Able to communicate (written and oral) in English.
- Demonstrate adequate vision for evaluating patients.
- Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
- Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: Administer medications and handle instruments).
- Able to work in a latex-burdened environment.
