What You'll Do

Provide expert patient care within the telemetry unit, utilizing the nursing process
Monitor, assess, and respond to patient vital signs and telemetry data
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and their families about procedures, health management, and recovery
Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise nursing team members
Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory standards
Document patient care activities accurately and timely

What You Need

Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
At least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical software
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills

Preferred:

Certification in a clinical specialty area
Experience with telemetry or cardiac monitoring
