Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial and multifamily construction projects.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine scope of work.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective project execution.
Maintain and update cost databases and bidding software to reflect current market trends.
Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize budgets while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in construction estimating, ideally within commercial or multifamily sectors.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore, or similar).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
