Key Responsibilities of the CVPCU Registered Nurse

• Manage patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgery including open heart operations
• Handle typical unit procedures such as epidural and chest tube management
• Administer and manage cardiac drips and medications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Requirements of the CVPCU Registered Nurse

• Stepdown experience
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery within the past year preferred
