Commercial Property Management Accountant

Three Oaks Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Property Management Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of mixed‑use commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management accounting, lease administration, and financial reporting. We are looking to hire for this position immediately. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties/Responsibilities Manage all accounting functions related to a portfolio of mixed‑use commercial properties. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance reports. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and ensure tenant billings are accurate and timely. Maintain tenant ledgers, process rent collections and apply payments. Review lease agreements to ensure correct accounting treatment and billing. Support audits, lender reporting, and tax filings as needed. Utilize Yardi property management/accounting software. Required Skills/Abilities Strong knowledge of GAAP and property‑specific financial practices (e.g., CAM, lease accounting). Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate cross‑functionally. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience in commercial real estate or property management.
