Clinical ManagerThe Clinical Manager provides clinical and operational leadership for a multi-site program delivering integrated behavioral health services within housing and community-based settings.This is a hands-on leadership role that blends clinical supervision, program oversight, and staff development. The Clinical Manager supports a multidisciplinary team serving individuals with complex needs, including mental health conditions, substance use, histories of trauma, and housing instability.This role is central to ensuring that care is consistent, ethical, trauma-informed, and sustainable for both clients and staff.Our Clinical ApproachTrauma-informed careClient-centered and strengths-based practiceHousing-first principlesCultural humility and responsivenessWhat Success Looks LikeStaff feel supported, guided, and able to sustain their workClinical services are consistent, coordinated, and of high quality across sitesDocumentation and compliance processes are clear, manageable, and timelyClients experience care that is respectful, responsive, and relationship-centeredClinical practices reflect trauma-informed and harm reduction principlesKey Responsibilities:Clinical Leadership & SupervisionProvide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and associate-level cliniciansOffer reflective, strengths-based supervision that supports clinical growth and staff well-beingGuide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning; co-sign documentation as requiredSupport interdisciplinary teams (including case managers and housing staff) through consultation and group supervisionProgram Oversight & QualityOversee daily clinical operations across multiple program sitesEnsure services meet contractual, legal, and ethical standardsSupport quality assurance processes, including chart review and documentation improvementMonitor and support caseload distribution and service deliveryStaff Development & Training:Lead onboarding and orientation for clinical staffProvide training to multidisciplinary teamsFoster a learning environment that builds clinical skill, confidence, and alignment with program valuesCollaboration & PartnershipsParticipate in care team meetings across housing and service sitesCollaborate with city departments, funders, and community partnersRepresent the program in external meetings as neededAdministrative & Operational LeadershipSupport program reporting, including service data and billing coordinationPartner with leadership on program development and implementationProvide performance feedback and staff evaluationsAddress concerns or conflicts using a balanced approach that prioritizes accountability and supportQualificationsRequired:Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related fieldActive California licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist) in good standingAt least 2 years post-licensure, eligible to provide clinical supervision (BBS)Eligibility for 5150 AuthorizationExperience providing clinical supervision and supporting multidisciplinary teamsStrong understanding of trauma, homelessness, substance use, and behavioral healthAbility to balance clinical leadership with operational responsibilitiesPreferred:Experience working in housing-based or community-integrated behavioral health programsMultilingual and/or multicultural experienceFamiliarity with San Francisco systems of care and documentation/billing environmentsExperience with Epic EHR systemWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role involves a combination of office-based and on-site work across program locations.
