Data Entry Specialist

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Temporary Data Entry Specialist for a leading professional consulting organization. This is a remote, full-time temporary opportunity open to candidates across the U.S., with a preference for those located near Houston, Texas.



POSITION OVERVIEW:


Scion Staffing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a high-volume data management and document organization initiative. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a dependable administrative professional who enjoys working with documents, entering and maintaining information, and keeping records accurate and organized. This assignment is anticipated to continue through December 2026, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter, update, and maintain information accurately across internal databases and systems
• Organize, maintain, and update digital files, records, and supporting documentation
• Review documents and information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
• Assist with data cleanup, document organization, and administrative projects
• Coordinate with internal team members to gather information and resolve discrepancies
• Provide general administrative support while maintaining accurate and organized records

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous administrative, data entry, clerical, or office support experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when handling high volumes of information
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a remote environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a dependable and collaborative approach

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• $18-$20 per hour
• Fully remote work environment
• Temporary assignment expected through January 2027 with the possibility of extension based on business needs
