Part-Time Hourly Youth Advocate
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Summary of Position: Hourly, part-time positions serving youth and families throughout Ogemaw County.
Applicants must be dependable, committed, and a positive role model to serve youth and families in schools, communities, and in the homes. Primary responsibilities of the advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
Position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement. Hourly Pay: $17.50 per hour.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking a plus.
- Required to have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage.
