Mechanical Designer
MDS Staffing
Engineering Firm specializing in HVAC and Plumbing Systems is seeking a mechanical designer for the retail/light commercial group. Designer will be working on both HVAC and plumbing design for retail and light commercial projects throughout the United States. This designer will be working closely with the in-house project manager and electrical designer as well as communicating with clients and plan reviewers. This person will also be responsible for performing load calculations, sizing mechanical equipment, ductwork sizing/design, and plumbing sizing/design. Qualifications: Candidates need between 1 and 4 years experience with building and/or building system design. Preference will be given for mechanical system design experience. Candidate must be competent with Autodesk Revit software.
