Job Description:


- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)
- Ratios: 1:6
- Years of Experience Required: 2
- First Timers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other
- Certifications Required: BLS, CPI (CPI offered during orientation if not already held)
- On-Call Requirement: No
- Floating Within Scope: Yes, to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule Accommodation: Not guaranteed
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Pending License Accepted: No (must have in-state license and required certifications in hand)

Special Requirements:
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on acute psychiatric care.

- Support Staff Includes: Social Worker, OT, Psychiatrist (24x7), Security, Unit Clerks, Mental Health Specialists

- Work in a spirited unit with a diverse patient population dealing with various mental health challenges including:
- Anxiety Disorders
- Bipolar Disorder
- Depressive Disorders
- Psychotic Disorders
- Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.

Details About This Role:
- Float Required: Yes, to other psych units and inpatient units as needed.
- Weekend Coverage: Yes, at least 6 weekend shifts are expected per contract.
- Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 6
- Preparation Time: Orientation hours are 40.
