As a Security Officer Access Control in Crystal Springs, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and entry screening at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns according to site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, visitor processing, restricted area access, and/or policy questions while helping to support orderly operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
