About the Organization The line cook ensures that each food item is prepared with the highest quality and care. Position Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently cook food following all guidelines, sanitation, and safety to produce food according to the OPH standard. Accept 100% responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served. Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and meetings. Make menu items to meet quality, portion, and time standards. Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace and practice good personal hygiene. Timely and accurately complete prep list including stocking, rotating, and clean‑up. Maintain line cleanliness (counter, cutting boards, floor, trash, etc.). Close the kitchen properly, following opening and closing checklist, and complete deep clean projects as dictated by leadership. Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership. Assist co‑workers with any required tasks. Ask questions and request help whenever necessary. Success Patterns Exhibits strong organizational skills. Works effectively as part of a team. Recognizes when help is needed and is willing to ask for it. Makes food to quality and portion specifications. Able to work all scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays. Position Requirements Physical Requirements Bending, stooping, and maintaining position upright for long periods of time. Safely move/lift/relocate up to 50 lbs. Work in a standing position for long periods (up to 12 hours). Personal Characteristics Feels passionate about cooking and giving great service to all guests.
