Pay & Schedule Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 10-hour shifts (Required) Job Type: Part Time to Full-time What You’ll Do: As our Accounting Specialist, you’ll support the finance department by performing a variety of clerical, administrative, and basic accounting tasks. This role has a strong focus on data entry for accounting and sales which requires STRONG numerical and analytical skills, but you’ll also wear many hats – pivoting quickly, tackling tasks as they come up, and keeping our office running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Prepare and enter invoices and expense reports Reconcile bank statements and financial records Assist with month-end close process Maintain organized and accurate financial files and documentation Perform high-volume, accurate data entry in support of accounting, sales, and operations Create, edit, and maintain documents and spreadsheets in MS Word and Excel Enter and manage information in QuickBooks (prior experience is a must) Provide friendly, professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders Support various departments with administrative tasks – whatever needs to get done in the moment Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently Assist with communication – writing emails, taking calls, and actively listening to gather needed information Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel Excellent communication skills – writing, speaking, and active listening Top-notch organizational and time management abilities High typing speed with strong accuracy Customer-service oriented with a warm, positive, and professional demeanor Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment A can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves to help wherever needed.
