Responsibilities include:Assist in unit activities, as designated, including unit government, facilitate student groups, and promote student independent living skills.Patrol and monitor dormitories and center as required ensuring safety and proper behavior of students; resolve potential or occurring problems.Prepare the daily operations report, pass list, updated case notes in system, and other administrative correspondence relating to students.Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory.ScheduleFriday-Tuesday, 3:00 PM-12:00 AM, Wednesdays & Thursdays offRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.A minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience required.A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.Important applicant information: While many states, including Massachusetts, have legalized marijuana for medical and recreational use, it remains classified as an illegal controlled substance under federal law, specifically the Controlled Substances Act.
