About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Quality to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a transformational leader with a strong background in nursing or a related clinical healthcare field, holding a Bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement, with a Master's degree preferred. The role is pivotal in driving the organization's quality, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives, with a focus on achieving and maintaining high national performance standards. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic planning, influencing the development of quality and safety strategies, and ensuring the organization meets or exceeds national benchmarks. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is required, with a Black Belt preferred, and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is also preferred or the willingness to obtain it within two years. Candidates for this role at the company should have more than seven years of progressive leadership experience in a complex healthcare environment, with a proven track record of achieving and maintaining High Reliability Organization (HRO) status. Experience with regulatory surveys, particularly TJC and AHCA, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader, capable of building and developing multidisciplinary teams, and will have a strong presence with a balance of leadership and empathy. Clinical expertise, including knowledge of medical and clinical procedures, healthcare policies, and technology, is a must. The role requires exceptional communication skills, analytical rigor, and the ability to make data-informed decisions. The Executive Director will also be responsible for maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the organization is in compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
