INTERNAL MEDICINE MEDICAL ONCOLOGY

POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports The Department in providing outpatient oncology care for adult patients within a multidisciplinary cancer program. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating a broad range of malignant conditions, participating in collaborative tumor boards, and working closely with specialists across multiple disciplines. The position offers access to systemic therapies, diagnostic resources, and research opportunities within a coordinated oncology network.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Medical Oncology
• Residency training in internal medicine
• Training or experience in Medical Oncology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient centered care

COMPETENCIES
• Management of adult oncology conditions in an outpatient setting
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including surgical, radiation, and diagnostic specialists
• Participation in tumor board discussions and coordinated care pathways
• Use of industry standard EMR and modern diagnostic tools
• Delivery of evidence based oncologic care with attention to patient needs

Work Environment: Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Hospital
