Senior Genomic Sales Specialist

Pacific Biosciences seeks a Senior Genomic Sales Specialist to drive sequencing technology adoption across the Eastern US territory. The role combines technical expertise in genomics with strategic sales leadership, serving as a clinical and research market specialist working alongside account managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and close complex sales opportunities for sequencing instruments and consumables across research and clinical markets
- Support customers through technology evaluations, assay planning, and implementation strategies
- Build relationships with laboratory directors, pathologists, geneticists, and clinical decision-makers
- Deliver technical workshops and seminars to internal teams and customers on product applications and market trends
- Collaborate across internal departments to resolve technical barriers and improve customer adoption success
Requirements
- BA/BS in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Genomics, or related field
- 3+ years customer-facing sales experience in life sciences, genomics, or clinical research
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and territory growth
- Strong public speaking and technical communication abilities
- Ability to interact professionally with C-suite and diverse stakeholder levels
- Knowledge of CAP, CLIA, or regulated laboratory environments (preferred)
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in related biological sciences (preferred)
