If you are looking for a meaningful career, a culture of excellence, and the ability to make a difference, we want to talk to you!Site Location is in Mesa, AZSecurity OfficerAll shifts$22.00/hrA CURRENT ARIZONA GUARD CARD IS REQUIREDSecurity Relief Officer Responsibilities:Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.Other duties to be determined by Management.Qualifications:Valid AZ Security License mandatoryValid and Clean Driver's LicenseHigh School DiplomaProfessional demeanor and appearanceProficient computer skillsMust be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasksStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Minimum of one year of security experienceMust be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)This position will require occasional, crouching, climbing of stairs, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of timeBenefits:Insurance: medical, vision and dentalShort term disabilityCritical care/Hospital IndemnityComplimentary life insurancePet insuranceLegal assistance/guidanceIdentity theft protectionPaid on the job trainingPaid time offBi-Weekly PayCompetitive compensationCareer advancement opportunitiesContinuous learning opportunities through LMSEmployee referral bonus programEmployee assistance program (EAP)Employee recognition eventsEmployee performance incentives/rewardsProfessional growth and development opportunities
