As an Access Control Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to access-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and entry requirements in accordance with site procedures. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and access-related records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
