About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Ventura MedStaff to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Artesia, New Mexico, 88210!

Travel PACU RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in New Mexico. NM or compact license is required. 1 year of experience is required. BLS is required. ACLS is preferred. The facility seeks a PACU RN to meticulously observe and treat our post-anesthesia care unit patients, ensuring that they recover properly after a surgery or procedure that requires anesthesia. An ideal candidate works with a high level of attention to ensure each patient safely transitions from an anesthetized state to responsiveness. It is absolutely essential to communicate with other medical personnel regarding any abnormal test results, symptoms, or changes in a patient’s condition. They expect the RN to perform your duties while upholding the standards of care for their PACU.
