Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a strong background in AWS Administration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services and the ability to leverage cloud technologies to enhance our software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Implement and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions as necessary.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
  • Document software designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong expertise in AWS Administration, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices design.
  • Experience in working with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading software development projects from inception to deployment.
