PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - ER/ED | Travel | Assignment Overview Join our emergency department team as a dedicated Registered Nurse, providing acute care to patients across a wide range of conditions from minor injuries to critical traumas. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and have experience in fast-paced emergency room environments. Assignment Details Trauma Level: 1 Shift: 12-hour nights Assignment Length: 3x12 nights Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable) Charting System: EPIC Responsibilities Provide care for a diverse patient population including newborns to elderly. Handle cases such as strokes, heart attacks, and trauma patients. Administer and titrate a wide range of drips including vasopressors and cardiac medications. Collaborate with a team of ED physicians, mid-levels, and support staff. Interpret monitor rhythms and respond to life-threatening conditions. Perform patient lab draws. Qualifications Required: Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated Negative drug screen for all panels Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Experience in emergency nursing Preferred: At least 2 years of nursing experience Prior travel assignment experience SANE RN experience Experience in teaching hospitals PEL/VIP Job ID 65439622.
