GIS Analyst

GIS AnalystCSEngineering is seeking a GIS Analyst to support geospatial data management, mapping, engineering records, and facility planning for a Department of Defense installation. The ideal candidate will bring strong GIS production and data-quality experience supporting infrastructure and real-property environments.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop, maintain, and manage GIS files, databases, applications, and mapping products supporting engineering, planning, construction, and facility-record functions.Create and revise maps, charts, cartographic products, and geospatial data layers.Digitize, edit, review, and quality-control geospatial data for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.Maintain current and historical infrastructure, utility, floor-plan, real-property, and engineering data.Use GIS tools to analyze geographic and facility-related information supporting land use, transportation, environmental, and installation planning activities.Provide technical support and instruction to users on GIS tools, geospatial data, and facility-management procedures.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSecurity Clearance: NACI/SF85 (Public Trust)Associate degree in a science-related field; orAt least two (2) years of technical-field experienceExtensive knowledge of geospatial concepts, theories, principles, and practices, including cartography, remote sensing, and scientific data visualization.Experience producing, managing, archiving, and maintaining digital geospatial data in accordance with recognized data standards.Experience with GIS applications, CADD/GIS integration, enterprise geodatabases, and engineering or facility-management data is preferred.Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80930COMPANY OVERVIEWCSEngineering, a Service-Disabled Veteran-owned small business established in 2002, is dedicated to becoming the premier engineering and services firm in our industry, all while prioritizing client satisfaction above all else.With a rich history of excellence, we boast significant expertise in a wide array of areas, including satellite systems, weapons and missile systems, naval architecture, aviation systems, IT and Enterprise Architecture, and more.
