Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to join our team at Lamar Estates , a premier Skilled Nursing Facility in Lamar, Colorado. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and services to our residents while maintaining a high level of operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Skilled Nursing Facility, including managing staff, residents, and families

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional resident care and services

  • Manage budgets, authorize expenditures, and supervise financial transactions

  • Ensure timely and effective communication with residents, families, and stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and facility operations

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and community organizations

  • Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives to drive growth and improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field

  • Current licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in the state of Colorado

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or similar healthcare setting

  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience in supervising healthcare teams

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
