Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Assist physicians and Cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture essential images and data for patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Massachusetts radiologic technologist license.
• AHA ACLS certification.
• Three or more years of recent Cath/EP lab experience required.
• Experience with interventional cardiology procedures including PCI, Impella, balloon pumps, device implants, and ablations.
• Scrub experience for device implants, lead revision, and ablations.
• Experience with EPIC (Epic Cupid) charting system.
• Experience with Toshiba and Canon imaging equipment.
• Ability to float to Interventional Radiology as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification from CCI preferred.
• EP-specific experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:0017:30.
• Schedule pattern: 4x10 schedule with seven call shifts per four-week schedule block, subject to staffing. Three of the call shifts include a full weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
• Patient population: Adult.
• Unit: Cardiac Catheterization and EP lab with two rooms; procedures include PCI, device implants, ablations, and advanced hemodynamic support.
• EMR: Epic (Cupid).
