Material Handler
Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Category: Warehouse
Job Purpose: Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and organization of materials within the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Checking materials into warehouse
- Operating a HILO to transport material for various reasons
- Organize materials on pallets by lifting and moving materials manually or with lifting equipment
- Data entry on company computer system
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Work with minimal supervision
- Follow required PPE, and all Company and Safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Special Knowledge/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 1 year work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Work Environment:
- Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and moving industrial vehicles. Noise level may be loud at times.
