CREDIT BUREAU ANALYST

Summary This role will be onsite at our Cleveland office only. The Credit Analyst - CIP is an excellent career development position within the vigorous Middle Market Commercial Banking environment at Huntington National Bank. The individual will work with clients whose revenues are $50MM+ and will learn the essentials of commercial banking. Non‑exempt position (eligible for overtime pay). Responsibilities Work directly with sales and credit personnel in generating approval documents while also protecting the quality of the Bank’s loan portfolio. Gather and analyze all financial and business information to determine credit worthiness for loans. Review and spread borrower financial statements and identify risks or strengths. Assess credit worthiness of commercial borrowers in partnership with Portfolio Managers, identifying risks posed by the borrower’s industry, line of business, financial history, outlook, economy, and proposed loan structure. Create approval and portfolio review documents, including writing summary analysis. Provide support as needed, including special projects. Assist in mentoring and training of credit analysts. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Preferred Qualifications Experience or demonstrated school work in commercial lending and/or financial evaluation of companies. Demonstrated confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and desire to learn. Strong customer service aptitude and goal oriented. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Compensation Hourly: $25.00 - $48.56. The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
