Registered Nurse - CSSU - PRN

Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Qualifications Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred). At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Physical & Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing. Ability to perform job functions while sitting. Ability to perform job functions while walking. Ability to climb stairs (infrequent). Ability to work indoors. Ability to work outside in temperature extremes. Ability to work from elevated areas (frequent). Ability to work in confined/cramped spaces (frequent). Ability to perform kneeling, bending at the waist, twisting at the waist, squatting, pinching operations (frequent). Ability to perform gross motor activities, firm grasping, fine manipulation, overhead reaching (frequent). Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders (continuous). Ability to fully use both legs and lower extremities for balance and coordination (continuous).
